What we publish
AMITA publishes practical guidance for Muslim technology professionals: workplace situations, career development, community and events. We write for the person in the situation, not for their employer.
Sourcing
- Factual claims link to a primary source wherever one exists.
- Statistics name the organisation that produced them, so you can check whether the finding actually supports the wording.
- Legal information cites the statute, case or agency it comes from — and is clearly marked as general information, not legal advice.
- We do not publish invented member counts, partner logos, testimonials or outcomes.
Religious content
AMITA is a professional association, not a religious authority. We write about the practical and professional dimensions of practising your faith at work. We do not issue religious rulings, and where a question is genuinely a matter of fiqh we say so and point readers to qualified scholars.
AI-assisted drafting
We use AI tools for research and drafting. We do not publish unreviewed AI output. Before anything goes live it requires human subject-matter review, verification of every factual claim against a primary source, and a named human who is accountable for it.
Publishing large volumes of lightly reviewed machine text would weaken the thing this organisation is trying to build, which is trust.
Dates
Published dates reflect first publication. We update the modified date only when content has been substantively reviewed or changed — not to make an old page look fresh.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, email info@muslimitassociation.org with the subject line "Correction". We will verify it, fix it, and note what changed. We would rather be corrected than be quietly wrong.
Independence
We do not accept payment for editorial coverage. If a piece of content is ever sponsored or produced in partnership, it will say so clearly at the top.
